Alex Morais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Borges in the 17th minute of the match. Alex Morais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led PHOENIX SC's Hanung Sephtianda to fire away a dangerous shot which Alex Morais despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Imam Sarwono managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAPI FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Imam Sarwono was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ray Clemence breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Borges in the 35th minute of play forced SAPI FC's goalkeeper Alex Morais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alex Morais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimir de Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Ray Clemence came out of the goal and Bengt-Arne Hansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. PHOENIX SC's Vladimir de Sena quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Olof Mellberg, made in the 84th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelo Borges got free with Alex Morais in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alex Morais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
