It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Santiago Silva kicked off to start the match. After 2 minutes, Santiago Silva made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. SALT's Adnan Al Motar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Santiago Silva put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Adnan Al Motar. Gerson Santana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adnan Al Motar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Adnan Al Motar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Santiago Silva went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in SALT's zone, Santiago Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adnan Al Motar came out of the goal and Santiago Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 19 minutes of play, Golden Tigers's Santiago Silva made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adnan Al Motar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adnan Al Motar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerson Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Santiago Silva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Golden Tigers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Salah Al Homaithe kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Adnan Al Motar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Santiago Silva sped through SALT's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adnan Al Motar. 33 minutes into the match, SALT's goal looked a bit too open when Helge Kozub came free, but Adnan Al Motar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adnan Al Motar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerson Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Gerson Santana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adnan Al Motar. SALT's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerson Santana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. Adnan Al Motar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-9.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santiago Silva in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adnan Al Motar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 54th minute of the match, Lafi Al Hashash tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Adnan Al Motar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Adnan Al Motar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lafi Al Hashash in the 54th minute of play. Adnan Al Motar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Santiago Silva showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-10 in the 56 minute of play. In the 58th minute, Konrad Söderberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerson Santana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Golden Tigers's Emilio Rael was substituted for Lafi Al Hashash. Golden Tigers's Nemir Al Hammady was substituted for Morjan Sarkhoh. Golden Tigers's Shen Jian Xu was substituted for Frank Corrêa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerson Santana in the 67th minute of play forced SALT's goalkeeper Adnan Al Motar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santiago Silva had several of the SALT's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 70 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-11 score and a disappointed Adnan Al Motar as he didn't even see the shot coming. Adnan Al Motar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerson Santana in the 73rd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Helge Kozub had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adnan Al Motar. SALT's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Helge Kozub was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-12. When Gerson Santana came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Golden Tigers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerson Santana couldn't finish the play. After 82 minutes of play, Golden Tigers's Gerson Santana made it 0-13 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adnan Al Motar was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 85th match minute, SALT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salah Al Homaithe to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by SALT's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Helge Kozub was slow to take the kick. During this time Golden Tigers's players had a chance to rest. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Karl-Åke Norling advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-14 in the 87th minute. In the 90thth minute of the game Santiago Silva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SALT's Adnan Al Motar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adnan Al Motar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nemir Al Hammady in the 92nd minute. The SALT fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Golden Tigers were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
