Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Diki Doro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- from getting a goal against them. Primo Speranza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Wielopolski in the 12th minute of the match. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Cormoranii -MM-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stasio Bienienda took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Emil Wielopolski managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. If Emil Wielopolski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diki Doro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godfredo Elazar in the 17th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Godfredo Elazar came free, but Diki Doro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diki Doro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmine Gargano in the 29th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Zhao Sen Yang had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Primo Speranza. Cormoranii -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zhao Sen Yang was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmine Gargano in the 39th minute of play forced Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Diki Doro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Emil Wielopolski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Primo Speranza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Zhao Sen Yang left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zhao Sen Yang was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Emil Wielopolski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Primo Speranza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zhao Sen Yang who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Primo Speranza when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Diki Doro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmine Gargano in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elce Teleagă in the 75th minute of play forced Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Diki Doro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diki Doro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elce Teleagă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Primo Speranza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhao Sen Yang in the 78th minute of play. The supporters of Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- booed when Cormoranii -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kajetan Ruszkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Ricardo Jenaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zhao Sen Yang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Primo Speranza made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Zhao Sen Yang kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Primo Speranza. That made the score 0-4 in the 95 minute of play. The Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
