Valeriu Antohi had in the 4thth minute some difficulties stopping Lorenzo Insigne's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Gunnarskog IFK's Valeriu Antohi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Villiam Tholsson in the 8th minute of play. The North Pole Kickers fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when North Pole Kickers's Lorenzo Insigne looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Leonardo Forsberg hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Sebastian Josefsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Folke Bure. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Josefsson ran back to his position shaking his head. When Villiam Tholsson came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the North Pole Kickers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Villiam Tholsson couldn't finish the play. Jan-Olof Albom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Simon Pååk made in the 23rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Robert Boström immediately put the ball in play. In the 26th minute of the match Gunnarskog IFK got a corner. North Pole Kickers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sebastian Josefsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Gunnarskog IFK's Jan-Olof Albom to fire away a dangerous shot which Folke Bure despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Marian Czysta hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torsten Rosendahl in the 29th minute of play forced North Pole Kickers's goalkeeper Folke Bure to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robert Boström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Folke Bure made a huge save. The supporters of Gunnarskog IFK booed when North Pole Kickers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gösta Ekgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in North Pole Kickers's zone, Sebastian Josefsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Folke Bure came out of the goal and Sebastian Josefsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute, Torsten Rosendahl made a precise shot to the right of Folke Bure. North Pole Kickers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Villiam Tholsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. North Pole Kickers's supporters rose to their feet, but Villiam Tholsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valeriu Antohi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, North Pole Kickers's Marian Czysta got a free kick in the 44th minute. Gunnarskog IFK's attentive Simon Pååk managed to snatch the ball when Gösta Ekgren made a throw-in in the 46th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Torsten Rosendahl to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Gunnarskog IFK's Simon Pååk got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Valeriu Antohi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Insigne, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Boström in the 61st minute of play forced North Pole Kickers's goalkeeper Folke Bure to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. North Pole Kickers's Anders Byström was substituted for Lorenzo Insigne. North Pole Kickers made a substitution. Peter Arvidsson replaced Henrik Back. After 63 played minutes North Pole Kickers got a freekick which was hit by Gösta Ekgren. Valeriu Antohi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Villiam Tholsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 79 minutes, Jan-Olof Albom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gunnarskog IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Olof Albom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Gunnarskog IFK's goalkeeper Valeriu Antohi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Villiam Tholsson. Villiam Tholsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Villiam Tholsson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Valeriu Antohi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Anders Byström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Valeriu Antohi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gunnarskog IFK were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing North Pole Kickers to leave the ground with a draw.
