With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simão Cunha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Simão Cunha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Corneliu Dridu's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. If Wesley Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ defense, Corneliu Dridu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Simão Cunha. The ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Simão Cunha should have stopped the shot. Corneliu Dridu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Simão Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corneliu Dridu in the 39th minute of play. ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s Simão Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fabiano Pitta in the 42nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Dr Lecter SC's Omid Kaulbach got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute, Rafael Favoretto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

50 minutes into the game, Rafael Favoretto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dr Lecter SC the free kick. In the 50th match minute, ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Favoretto to maneuver through the defense. Celso Trevisan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Luiz Quirino in the 57th minute of the match. With a little luck, ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s Simão Cunha got control of the ball when Corneliu Dridu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 59 played minutes ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Favoretto. Rafael Favoretto kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s Simão Cunha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ from getting a goal against them. Simão Cunha made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Corneliu Dridu sent off a good shot on target. Simão Cunha made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Luiz Vale sent off a good shot on target. In the 95th minute of the match, Fedele Di Fabrizio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Simão Cunha saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dr Lecter SC played a much better game than ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ and deserved their victory. The ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
